The plague that hit Athens during the Peloponnesian War is similar to the Corona Virus that is currently spreading across the world. One reason they are similar is because they are both pandemics. The symptoms of the Athenian plague were diarrhea, fever, chills and slow heart rate. The symptoms of the Corona Virus include, fever, cough and diffculty breathing. The Greeks wrote two kinds of drama, they were tragedy and comedy. A tragedy was a serious drama about common themes such as love, hate, war, or betrayal. The dramas had a main character, or tragic hero. The hero was usually a important person with extraordinary abilities. The comedy's contained scenes with slapstick situations and crude humor. The playwrights often made fun of politics and respected people and ideas of the time. The movie Titanic is a tragedy movie I enjoy. Rose and Jack are deeply in love but they cannot be together because Rose is supposed to marrying someone who is in her class, so Rose betrays her families wishes and decides she wants to be with Jack. Jacks end up dying when the Titanic sunk and Rose is heartbroken. This photo is where the Greeks performed their plays. This held up to 14,000 people.

They were also members of the ruling class. 4. Who was Homer? He was a philosopher who lived at the end of the "Greek Dark Ages". He composed epics of the trojan war. Homer wrote The Iliad and Th Odyssey. 5. Who did Darius the Great lead? Darius the Great lead the Persian Empire.
