The main difference between the Patricians and the Plebeians was that the Patricians were the upper class citizens and the Plebeians were the lower class. The Plebeians had little to no rights and they made up most of the Roman citizens. They also were not able to be government officials or hold office. Most Plebeians worked as small farm owners and shopkeepers. The Patricians were wealthy landowners who could hold office and be government officials. They could also be judges in court and they were able to veto laws. The Patricians were also able to make laws while the Plebeians couldn't.

1. This is the Temple of Olympian Zeus, it was dedicated to “Olympian” Zeus in the 6th century. It is also known as the Olympian or Columns of the Olympian Zeus. It is a former colossal temple at the center of the Greek capital Athens. 2.  The Parthenon was one of the most influential buildings in Greek history. It stands on the top of the citadel of the Acropolis. The Parthenon was dedicated to Athena, the goddess of wisdom and patron of Athens. It was initially built as a celebration and thank you to the Gods for the Hellenic victory over the Persians, but now it is a well known symbol of Athenian democracy, Western Civilization and Ancient Greece.

The Greeks wrote two kinds of drama, they were tragedy and comedy. A tragedy was a serious drama about common themes such as love, hate, war, or betrayal. The dramas had a main character, or tragic hero. The hero was usually a important person with extraordinary abilities. The comedy's contained scenes with slapstick situations and crude humor. The playwrights often made fun of politics and respected people and ideas of the time. The movie Titanic is a tragedy movie I enjoy. Rose and Jack are deeply in love but they cannot be together because Rose is supposed to marrying someone who is in her class, so Rose betrays her families wishes and decides she wants to be with Jack. Jacks end up dying when the Titanic sunk and Rose is heartbroken. This photo is where the Greeks performed their plays. This held up to 14,000 people.
